Salma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actress and producer. She began her career in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), for which she earned an Ariel Award nomination.
