Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actress and producer. She began her career in Mexico with her starring role in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), for which she earned an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but among her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo painting artist in Frida (2002) the biographical feature she created and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination [66. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. In the following years, Hayek focused more on filmmaking while also appearing in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
