Alongside these highly coveted nominations, Katheryn received the Serendipity Film's Award of Excellence during the Banff World Media Festival in 2015. In addition to these prestigious nominations, Katheryn also received the Serendipity Award of Excellence at the Banff International Media Festival in 2015.
